Steve Davis Jr. is a servant leader, design thinker, author, and an Athlete Transition Coach. He played football at the University of Minnesota where he received his B.A. in Mass Communications in 2008.

Steve had a prosperous career as a four-year starter and a senior captain at the University of Minnesota, but his dreams of making it to the NFL did not happen which became the biggest transition of his life. Through a lot of perseverance and discovery, he found his way connecting with others and navigating many careers from sales, to project management, to events, to alumni engagement. 

Through them all, he created bridges of connectivity to help elevate lives, connect them to resources, and generate a sense of pride. But his main mission and passion is to help other athletes transition to life. Thus, he became a certified life coach and founded Strive Higher After Sports focused on helping athletes design a fulfilled life after sports. 

His mantra for life is “Strive Higher Every Day” and he lives that out by continuing to be a lifelong learner seeking growth and evolution and inspiring others to do the same.
