A sales position brought me to Orange County, California, in 2000 from England. Because of my love of the beautiful game, I soon became a club soccer coach as a part-time hobby. The cost and over-competitive nature of club sports led me to start a nonprofit called PureGame.
Kids are confused and don't know what path to take in life. This confusion produces feelings of depression, anxiety, and hopelessness. And that isn't right! The PureGame kids learn, laugh, and come together through sport. They leave the field each day knowing they have what it takes to succeed.
Because of my interactions with the kids on the field, I soon realized I had a gift for coaching and started a company to coach big kids in the world of business. I became certified in Business Made Simple, Tiny Habits, and the Full Focus Planner systems.
My target market is professional, college, or high school student athletes looking to transition to a new career.
Athletes are competitive and don't like to lose. When their career changes, they can lose their identity and competitive edge. I started Personal Best Coaching to provide the skill training and frameworks needed to transition into a new career and regain the clarity and confidence to perform at their best and experience meaning in all areas of life.

My coaching can be as simple as a 4-week stand alone module or a multi-year one-on-one or group coaching program. 25% of any coaching fee supports kids in the PureGame program, a nonprofit serving at-risk kids. Join PureGame on a mission to provide 100,000 youth with mentoring to help them discover a chosen pathway of success. Because kids shouldn't have to struggle to make sense of a confusing world!
We know that kids are struggling to make sense of this confusing world. PureGame staff (Field Champions) deliver a sports-based, life skills education program. The PureGame kids learn, laugh, and come together through sport. They leave the field each day knowing they have what it takes to be successful.
