Kelsey grew up playing various sports and activities which were the center of her childhood. Most of her adolescence was playing soccer, hockey, golf, and swimming. She played hockey at a Division III college in central Minnesota.

After college, she began her corporate career and struggled to adapt to a different identity and environment than the athletic world she had been accustomed to. She now knows this period of transition is very common for former athletes, but at the time she wasn’t prepared and she wishes she’d been given the resources to better navigate her transition out of sports.

In 2020, she recognized this gap in support for former athletes and knew she needed to help. She became a certified coach with a focus on supporting former athletes. She helps her clients navigate a new identity and create a new, exciting path for their lives. She recently left her corporate career to focus on growing her coaching business.

On a personal note, she lives with her husband and two daughters in the Twin Cities. We live an active life balancing work, school, sports and activities, plus also entrepreneurship.
